Activity Report: View All Historical Check-Ins
The Activity Report can be used to view all historical check-ins across the full available record history when no date range filter is applied. For customers with a large volume of data, an all-time view may load more slowly, so it is helpful to apply additional filters when a narrower result set is needed.
What this means
- “All historical check-ins” = viewing check-in and check-out records beyond today (not just live attendance).
- In Activity Report, the default can be “no date range,” which effectively returns all time (full history).
When you’ll use this
- A customer wants a full history export of attendance/check-ins.
- You need to investigate a specific worker’s or supplier’s attendance across weeks/months.
- You want to include check-in/out question answers in the export (Q&A columns).
Step-by-step
Common issues
The report is slow or times out when trying to view “all time”
What to check
-
If there’s no date range, the report is attempting to load full history, which can be too heavy for large customers.
What to do
-
Apply a date range (for example last 30/90 days) or add a site filter, then export in smaller batches.
The export doesn’t include check-in/out question answers
What to check
-
Q&A columns are not always included by default.
What to do
-
Turn on the “Q&A” option in column selection before exporting.
Why this matters
- Historical check-in data is often used for audits, compliance reporting, and workforce hour summaries.
- Having a consistent way to view/export history reduces manual reconciliation work.
Need help?
If a customer needs “all time” data but the report won’t load, export in time-based batches (for example month-by-month) and combine externally, or narrow by site before exporting.
