How Do I Manually Force the Procore Integration to Sync?
If updates made in Procore are not appearing in Breadcrumb as quickly as expected, you can manually trigger a sync to help refresh the latest information. This is especially useful after adding or updating projects, suppliers, or site team details in Procore, as it helps Breadcrumb pull through those changes more promptly.
What this means
- A manual sync (also called “force sync”) tells the integration to prioritise syncing specific items on the next available sync run.
- It does not instantly sync everything, but it can reduce the normal waiting period.
When you’ll use this
- A new project, supplier, or user was added/updated in Procore and isn’t appearing in Breadcrumb yet
- Procore data looks out of date in Breadcrumb and you need a refresh
Step-by-step
Common issues
Manual sync button is missing
What to check:
- Confirm you’re logged into Breadcrumb with an admin-level account that can access integration settings.
- Confirm the Procore integration is enabled for the company you’re looking at.
What to do:
- If you can’t access the integration controls, ask an internal admin (or a “god user” if required by your setup) to run the sync.
I clicked manual sync but nothing changed
What to check:
- The integration may already be syncing, and a new run won’t start until the current one finishes.
- Some sync operations are intentionally spaced out (for example, certain items may only sync every few hours unless prompted).
What to do:
- Give it time to complete (some sync runs can take 30–60+ minutes for large accounts).
- If it’s urgent, re-check later the same day and confirm whether the specific object you changed in Procore meets all required fields for syncing.
Changes still don’t appear after waiting
What to check:
- Webhook or caching behaviour can delay updates in some cases.
- The item might not meet Procore requirements (for example, missing key identifiers or duplicate values that prevent syncing).
What to do:
- Confirm the Procore record is complete and valid (project number, address, required IDs, etc., depending on what you’re syncing).
- If delays persist, double check your permissions and if need be get in contact with Support to assist.
Why this matters
- Manual sync helps reduce delays when you need changes reflected sooner than the normal schedule.
- It can refresh cached data so the sync run pulls the latest information from Procore.
