Print your Site-Specific QR code and Instructions

Use this when you need a print-ready QR code poster for a specific site. It allows workers to scan the code when they arrive and then follow the on-screen steps to begin the correct check-in, induction and RAMS sign off process.

What this means

  • A site-specific QR code is unique to one site and routes workers into the correct site check-in, induction and RAMS flow.
  • The “QR code and instructions” printout is a poster-style handout you can display on-site.

When you’ll use this

  • You’re setting up a new site and need something to put on the entrance, sign-in point, or site office wall to allow workers to sign in. Ensure that the QR poster is only available on site and is not shared outside of this.
  • You’ve updated the site setup and need to reprint the QR poster (for example, after reissuing the QR code).

Step-by-step

Common issues

Printed QR code scans to the wrong site

  • Double check which site you were viewing when you downloaded the poster.

  • Go back to Sites, re-open the correct site, then download the poster again.

The poster won’t download or looks blank

  • Check whether you’re logged in and your session hasn’t expired.

  • Refresh the page, sign out and back in if needed, then try downloading again.

You need to replace the site QR code with a new one

  • Check the site’s Danger Zone section (under site settings) for an option to reissue the QR code.

  • After you reissue it, download and print a fresh QR code and instructions poster (any old QRs will no longer be valid).

Why this matters

  • It reduces day-one confusion by giving workers one clear starting point.
  • It helps ensure check-ins and induction responses are captured against the correct site.
